SOCW652 Behavioral Health Social Work Prac with People Who Are Unhoused
This course examines histories, policies, and services and interventions for people who are unhoused and populations at risk of becoming unhoused, with a focus on the state of California. Students will learn best behavioral health and social services practices that promote health and behavioral health and assist with obtaining and maintaining housing. Attention is given to the behavioral health and support needs of unhoused individuals from diverse groups and to culturally responsive practice.
