MTHD602 Human-Computer Interaction
This course provides a foundation in the principles, models, and practices of Human–Computer Interaction (HCI), emphasizing the relationships among people, technology, and design. Students learn to apply human-centered design frameworks, create and evaluate prototypes, and interpret usability data to inform design decisions. Emphasis is placed on accessibility, ethics, and the application of HCI methods to learning technologies for adults and children. Students will complete a hands-on design project, critique peer-reviewed HCI research, and demonstrate synthesis through an online final exam. Prerequisites: MTHD509, STAT510
