MTHD601 Foundations of User Experience (UX) Research
This course provides an applied foundation in User Experience (UX) Research, introducing students to the full research lifecycle, from defining research questions through data collection, analysis, and reporting. Students will learn to integrate qualitative and quantitative methods, apply ethical principles in human research, and communicate insights that inform design and business decisions. Emphasis is placed on rigorous, evidence-based methodology and critical thinking in evaluating user needs and product performance. Students will engage in practical exercises drawn from real-world UX contexts, preparing them for both academic and industry research roles. Prerequisites: MTHD509, STAT510
