Bachelor's Degree Program
The Undergraduate (UG) Program is designed for undergraduate transfer students interested in studying the scientific basis of human behavior and the intersection of business and psychology. Specifically, the undergraduate program provides the knowledge and skills that are informed by science and scholarship, for students to effectively work in community organizations or business communities. The courses offered in this program help prepare students to become competent leaders in the fields related to social services, mental health and business. Students can complete a Bachelor of Science degree in as little as one year.
PAU Bachelor degree programs are uniquely designed for students transferring from a Community College or those who have completed approximately two years of college. Accredited by the Western Association of Senior Colleges and Universities Commission (WSCUC), both degrees are offered in online formats.
Bachelor of Science Degree in Psychology
The Bachelor of Science in Psychology focuses on developing the psychological knowledge and skills for entry-level client advocacy and outreach as well as graduate school preparation. The curriculum includes core classes in psychology, two quarters of field experience, and additional non-core electives. Graduates can find roles at nonprofits and community agencies or prepare for graduate programs in psychology.
Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Psychology
The Bachelor of Science in Business Psychology focuses on producing graduates who have the ability to apply the science of human behavior in business settings. Students in this program learn to apply theories in psychology to business challenges, such as employee motivation, sales and marketing, consumer behavior and human resource management. The students learn to analyze business problems through the lens of psychology and to develop effective solutions.The Business Psychology curriculum includes core classes in business and non-core classes including at least 20 units in psychology.
