CLIN691 Counseling Older Adults

This course provides students with a comprehensive understanding of the counseling process with older adults and their families. Students will explore developmental, cultural, neurological, and interpersonal aspects of aging, along with evidence-based counseling practices and strategies. Emphasis is placed on fostering critical consciousness around aging-related biases and promoting culturally responsive and person-centered care.
