COUN641 Research & Program Evaluation

In order to best serve our clients, counselors should have knowledge of research, foundational statistics concepts, and program evaluation. This course is designed to introduce us to the research methodology, in order to analyze current counseling research to determine how it may improve our counseling practice. During the course, we will gain a basic understanding of research concepts and will learn how to use them in applied clinical settings. Statistical methods used in conducting research, needs assessment, and program evaluation are reviewed.
