CLIN727 Applied Health Psychology
The purpose of this course is to investigate the appearance of psychiatric illness in medical conditions. Central Nervous System diseases, HIV-related psychiatric disorders, and disorders related to hormone dysregulation are reviewed. Neuropsychological testing is covered with an emphasis on the diagnosis of psychiatric conditions in neurological disorders. Students also 105 receive an in depth review of somatoform disorders, with particular focus on non-epileptic seizures.
