COUN634 Diagnosis

This course introduces students to the diagnostic system of the DSM 5 TR. The emphasis is on understanding, identifying, and accurately diagnosing adult and child disorders with social, genetic, biological, and cultural factors examined. Descriptive psychopathology is complemented by readings on current research, theory, assessment, and evidence based best practices and treatment.
